Capuccino cupcakes for bake sale!

I made cappuccino cupcakes with the help of my auntie Jen for my school bake sale. We used the same method as the last time, but this time we added coffee flavour by mixing some coffee and warm water into the mixture. Here are some photos my auntie Jen took while we were baking

My Red Flake Cupcakes!

I made these buns with my Auntie Audrey. First we mixed some sugar and butter in the food processor. Then we beat two eggs and added them to the mixture. Then we added self-raising flour and some vanilla essence. Then I put bun cases into the bun tray and I scooped out the mixture with a spoon and a knife. Then we put them into the oven and baked them for about ten minutes. We knew they were cooked because we dipped a knife into the bun and it came out clean. If it came out with mixture on it we would have left them in for longer.

When the buns were in the oven we made some red butter cream icing. For this we used butter and sugar and some red colouring. We also used some more vanilla essence to make it taste better. We did this in the food processor too.

We had some cake mixture left over so my auntie put it into a small cake tin and when it was ready we cut it into the shape of a love heart.

When the buns had gone cold I told my auntie and then she watched me put on the red icing. Then we crushed some flake into a bowl and sprinkled it on the cupcakes.
